Transpose?Transpose — shifts the whole song up or down in pitch while keeping the capo where it is . Unlike Easy Chords, this really changes the key you hear.steps moves by a number of half steps — e.g. 2 up a whole tone, -1 down a semitone.highest transposes so the song's highest note lands on a pitch you name (e.g. F3 ) — handy for fitting a singer's range.
Chords
?Chords — the chord lines and text lines found in your tablature.When a text line has a chord line above it, the interactive chord line sits right on top of that text. When a chord belongs to a staff instead, it shows up here as a standalone interactive chord line. Standalone text lines appear here too. Flip show diagrams for fingerings, and tap a chord to hear it strummed.
Easy Chords
?Easy Chords — looks for capo positions that make the song easier to play : fewer barre chords, or simpler ones. It does not change the pitch — the song sounds exactly the same.Pick a suggestion (or type a fret and press Set Capo ) to reshape the chords for that capo. If your input also has a tab staff, its notes are re-fretted to match, so you get a complete tab in the new capo position. This is not a transpose. To actually move the song's pitch with a capo, go to Overview , add a line such as capo: 3rd fret , and Analyse again — that sets the capo there and shifts the song.
